On December 16-17, 2025, in Baku, the National Artificial Intelligence Center (NAIC), an AZCON Holding company, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, has launched a high-level Artificial Intelligence (AI) Leadership training program for senior representatives of various government institutions.

At the opening of the program, Carissa Little, Head of the Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education, welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of AI-driven leadership in strengthening decision-making processes in public administration, as well as in guiding the responsible application of artificial intelligence within government institutions.

“Alongside technological capabilities, the development of human capital is one of the key pillars of long-term transformation through artificial intelligence,” noted Aysel Soltanova, Advisor to the Executive Director of AZCON Holding. Mrs. Soltanova highlighted that initiatives focused on leadership development enable public institutions to apply AI technologies in a responsible and effective manner apply AI technologies in a responsible and effective manner.

The two-day program, delivered by the Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education, is designed to enhance strategic knowledge related to the application of artificial intelligence in public administration, strengthen data-driven decision-making practices, and expand institutional support for the development of the country’s innovation ecosystem.During the training, participants will be introduced to leading international approaches to the role of AI in management processes, application areas, potential transformation opportunities, and risk management.

Stanford instructors visiting Baku are delivering the training across three strategic focus areas: the AI ecosystem, AI-powered organizations, and AI innovation for impact.

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive certificates issued by the Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education.
