On the 5th anniversary of the historic Victory achieved by the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan over the Armenian military during the 44-day Patriotic War, “AzerGold” CJSC carried out a social assistance campaign in the Julfa district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Within the framework of the campaign, families of martyrs and veterans of the First and Second Karabakh (Patriotic) Wars, as well as low-income families registered in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, were visited. The social initiative covered families residing in the Khanagah, Alinja, and Khoshkesin villages of the Julfa district — near the Ortakand gold deposit, where “AzerGold” CJSC is actively conducting geological exploration and evaluation works.
The Company representatives distributed holiday gifts of various food products to families in remote villages and congratulated them on behalf of the Company.
It should be noted that “AzerGold” CJSC continuously implements various social initiatives and projects aimed at improving the social welfare and well-being of residents living in regions where the Company conducts geological exploration, mining, and production activities.
