A voluntary blood donation campaign was held at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport on the occasion of November 8 – Victory Day. The event was held with the support of the Republican Blood Bank.
This humanitarian initiative was implemented as a sign of respect to the memory of martyrs who gave their lives and blood for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Employees of the Ministry and its subordinate institutions actively took part in the campaign.
Blood was collected from eligible individuals after their health condition was checked. The donated blood will be used to treat those suffering from thalassemia and other hereditary blood diseases.
Voluntary blood donation campaigns are regularly organized at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
