Azerbaijan was represented at the conference titled “Promoting Data-Driven Decision-Making”, organized by the International Transport Forum (ITF) and Eurostat in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Experts from nearly 20 countries discussed ways to enhance the role of digitalization in developing efficient and sustainable urban mobility systems. During the sessions, participants shared their national experiences.

The Azerbaijani delegation delivered a presentation on the “Digital Twin of Baku” project, emphasizing its role in enhancing urban mobility management, data integration, and decision-making processes. The presentation generated considerable interest among participants and was recognized as a successful example of how digital technologies can facilitate transport planning and monitoring in rapidly growing cities.

The event served as an important platform for Azerbaijan to showcase its achievements in digital transformation and sustainable transport development.
