The annual Baku Jazz Festival, one of Azerbaijan's most important musical events, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Over the years, festivalgoers have heard the most renowned jazz musicians from around the world. The festival has prepared a gift for music lovers for its anniversary – a special program featuring jazz performers from 21 countries.
The festival will present a wide variety of jazz styles and genres to the public. The festival will also feature musicians' masterclasses and engaging discussions. A particularly interesting and relevant topic is "Jazz and Artificial Intelligence." Baku residents and visitors can expect a diverse and engaging program of musical concerts featuring virtuosos from around the world.
The festival director Leyla Efendiyeva spoke at the press conference about the renowned musicians who have performed on the Baku stage during the festival in previous years and the festival's origins and development. Baku Jazz Festival also established a partnership with France's most renowned jazz radio station this year. Baku Jazz Festival will be broadcast live in France across Europe for the first time. The special highlight of this year's festival is the musical "Chicago," a production entirely in English. At a press conference, director Aziz Azizov highlighted interesting details of his production and answered questions about comparisons with the Broadway production and the famous film.

Founded in 2005 by the outstanding saxophonist and composer Rain Sultanov, the festival has become a bridge between generations, cultures, and jazz traditions from around the world.
