Baku Piano Festival 2025 continued with a virtuoso concert by Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Shahin Novrasli. The concert was held in the Rotunda Roof Garden.
The concert featured Shahin Novrasli (piano), Fuad Jafar (bass guitar), Elshad Abdurahimov (nagara) and a special guest from Brazil, Isac Jamba (drums). Famous Brazilian musician Isac Jamba is taking part in the Baku Piano Festival for the second time.
Shahin Novrasli is a famous Azerbaijani jazz pianist and composer, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, founder and director of the Baku Piano Festival. Shahin's music is bright improvisations that originate from the traditions of jazz, European classical music, elements of polyphony, blues and folk music. Shahin masterfully combines the traditions of the West and the East in his work.
And this time the maestro managed to amaze the audience with something new, full of interesting author's improvisations and deep emotions. Each note played by Shain conveyed the atmosphere of a magical evening and held the attention of the audience. During his performances, the audience disconnected from all thoughts and enjoyed positive emotions. An amazing combination of traditions and rhythms, improvisations "on the edge", unpredictable plot twists of improvisations, incredible drive and the highest skill of the performer. This is his magic of improvisation, harmonious, beautiful, magical and memorable. The concert ended with a stormy standing ovation from the audience.
Baku Piano Festival 2025 will last until June 28. Residents and guests of the capital will enjoy a large concert program featuring music of various genres. Art events, exhibitions, a literary competition and jam sessions are also planned within the framework of Baku Piano Festival 2025. The festival's special pride is the concert of young talents “We are the Future”.
