Baku Piano Festival 2025 delighted the audience with the fiery tango of Kamran Babayev and Ezgi Er with the participation of the Turkish musical group Altera Ensemble.
The concert was attended by: Rustem Mustafa (violin), M.Reshat Guner (accordion), Zibelhan Dagdelen (vocals), Suzan Şenol Sayın (piano), Simge Keskin (cello), Bora Çamoğlu (double bass), Ege Tokatli (guitar), Yavuz Akalın (ney).
Altera Ensemble is an innovative modern music group that combines classical, modern and world music with the help of original arrangements. Different timbres of violin, cello, piano, accordion, double bass, classical guitar and ney are harmoniously combined with the enchanting voice of soprano, offering listeners an extraordinary musical experience. Altera Ensemble began its musical journey with the passionate melodies of Piazzolla and has since expanded its repertoire to include contemporary arrangements of Baroque and classical pieces, sophisticated interpretations of pop and film music, world music and contemporary tango. By transcending musical boundaries and merging genres, the group emphasizes emotional depth, artistic sophistication and cultural diversity in each performance.
The highlight of the evening was the tango by Kamran Babayev and Ezgi Er - bright, passionate, emotional, delighting the festival audience and bringing down a storm of applause.
Baku Piano Festival 2025 will last until June 28. Residents and guests of the capital will enjoy a large concert program featuring music of various genres. Art events, exhibitions, a literary competition and jam sessions are also planned within the framework of Baku Piano Festival 2025. The festival's special pride is the concert of young talents “We are the Future”.
