The final concerts of Baku Jazz Festival 2024 took place this weekend. The brightest musical event of this autumn gave the residents and guests of Baku unforgettable impressions.

The concert of Turkish jazz singer Sibel Köse at Jolly Joker was especially memorable for all the festival spectators. The inimitable manner of performance, powerful vocals of the Turkish singer and her ability to maintain close contact with the audience caused admiration of the listeners. Sibel Köse conquered the audience with her captivating and mesmerizing voice from the first notes, her artistry and charisma created the atmosphere of Saturday evening. The energetic rhythms of jazz and emotionally filled melodic improvisations were celebrated by the audience with thunderous applause.

The final chord of the festival was the performance of Cheryl "Pepsi" Riley and the Interplay group at the Fairmont Jazz Club. Cheryl "Pepsi" Riley is best known for her 1988 hit "Thanks for My Child". Her unique vocal style combines elements of gospel, R&B and soul. Interplay: Tomasz Henrik (keyboard), Lawrence Cottle (bass), Nathaniel Townsley (drums) is a jazz fusion band. Interplay is renowned for its energy, virtuosity and ability to combine elements of jazz, rock and funk into a harmonious palette.

The Art Director of the Baku Jazz Festival Rain Sultanov and the representative of the US Embassy William Murad greeted the audience before the concert.

The final concert was memorable for its mesmerizing vocals and graceful improvisation skills, as well as a hot jam session with Azerbaijani musicians. A warm, relaxing, friendly atmosphere, a friendly environment and notes of improvisation beautifully completed the Baku Jazz Festival 2024. Baku Jazz Festival 2024 was held in the capital from October 17 to 27. Performers from 11 countries performed at various concert venues in the city. The festival also included exhibitions, presentations and meetings with world jazz stars.
