According to operational data for January-March 2026, a total of 6.6 million tons of oil (including condensate) was produced in the country. Of this volume, 3.9 million tons were generated from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 0.9 million tons from Shah Deniz, and 0.1 million tons from the Absheron field. Oil production (including condensate) by SOCAR amounted to 1.7 million tons.
During this period, 5.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported. Of the total exports, 4.8 million tons accounted for consortiums, 0.3 million tons for SOCAR, and 0.1 million tons for JOCAP.
It should be noted that in the first quarter of this year, average daily crude oil production amounted to 61 thousand tons (450 thousand barrels), while condensate production stood at 13 thousand tons (105 thousand barrels). Overall, total oil production averaged 74 thousand tons (555 thousand barrels) per day.
In the reporting period, oil refining totaled 1.4 million tons.
In January-March 2026, the country produced 12.6 bcm of natural gas. Of the total gas output, 3.5 bcm came from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 6.9 bcm from Shah Deniz, 0.4 bcm from the Absheron field, and 1.8 bcm from SOCAR.
During this period, gas exports amounted to 6.5 bcm. Of this, 3 bcm were exported to Europe, 2.4 bcm to Türkiye (including 1.5 bcm via TANAP), 0.8 bcm to Georgia, and 0.3bcmto Syria.
Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields until 1 April 2026, nearly 675 million tons of oil (including gas condensate) and 519 bcm of gas have been produced. Specifically, 621.7 million tons of oil and 247.4 bcm of gas were produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, while Shah Deniz yielded nearly 53.3 million tons of condensate and 271.6 bcm of gas. Over the same period, 673 million tons of oil and 196.5 bcm of gas were exported.
