NARGIS Publishing House, led by Ulviyya Mahmud, is deeply committed to social projects. For several consecutive years, the publishing house has organized environmental exhibitions to draw attention to the impact of human activities and promote sustainable development.
On October 13, the Marine Station will be the venue for the fourth annual environmental exhibition presented by NARGIS Publishing, titled “Go Green." This exhibition focuses on environmental issues and uses art as a medium to bring contemporary ecological problems to the public awareness.
This year's exhibition will feature 9 installations created by acclaimed sculptors and artists from Azerbaijan, including an installation presented by NARGIS Publishing House. These installations have been crafted from materials collected from various districts of the city of Baku over the course of several months.
The exhibition is organized with the support of the Baku City Executive Power, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republican Children and Youth Development Center under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Asan Volunteers", Port of Baku, and Baku Bus LTD. The sponsors of the exhibition are Pasha Holding, Baku Steel Company, "Azərişıq" OJSC, AzVirt LTD, Improtex Motors, Azerbaijan Airlines, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The project, supported by the Republican Children and Youth Development Center, will include educational training aimed at the formation and development of environmental culture of the younger generation.
The exhibition will be open until 30 November.
