The Innovation and Digital Development Agency has today announced the appointment of Loukas Tzitzis as its new Managing Director, International Business Development & Growth, following an extensive, global search process.
Mr. Tzitzis is an award-winning business leader with an excellent track record across multiple leading companies in the ICT, utilities and medical technology sectors. He has held business as well as technology leadership positions in major international companies, with management board and advisory board experience in the UK, Israel, Austria, Romania, Estonia, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
Mr. Tzitzis will be primarily focusing on strengthening the ICT & innovation ecosystem of Azerbaijan by communicating the significant business benefits of Azerbaijan’s Technopark Residence scheme and thereby attracting international software development and system integration companies to establish presence in the country.
